One of the greatest privileges of working in real estate is being part of a community that truly shows up for one another. This holiday season, I was once again reminded of that through the Toys for Tots drive at the Ebby Halliday Texomaland office.
Year after year, the generosity of everyone never fails to amaze me. Every toy dropped off, every message shared, and every small act of kindness added up to something meaningful for families and children right here in our area.
Toys for Tots is especially close to my heart. I’ve been involved as a drop-off location for over 10 years, ever since my son joined the Marine Corps. What began as a personal way to support him and his fellow Marines quickly became one of my favorite ways to give back during the holiday season.
When I moved to the Ebby Halliday Texomaland office, I was inspired by the strong Toys for Tots program already in place throughout Grayson County. This community didn’t need convincing — the tradition of service was already here. Being able to continue that impact alongside people who genuinely care has meant more to me than I can express.
Because of this collective effort, more children will wake up on Christmas morning feeling seen, loved, and remembered. That kind of impact goes far beyond the holidays and reflects the heart of this community.
Giving back is a core part of how I approach both my business and my life. Whether it’s supporting local organizations, community events, or families putting down roots here, service and connection matter.
To everyone who participated, supported, or shared — thank you. It is an honor to live and work in Grayson County and to be part of a community that leads with heart.
